At Japamala & Friends, we believe fashion is for everyone. That’s why we work with small and larger sizes, always with flattering and comfortable cuts. We want every woman to find a piece that makes her smile in front of the mirror.

99% of our garments are made from viscose, cotton, ponte roma, and corduroy. They’re soft, breathable, and resistant fabrics, perfect for feeling comfortable and stylish in your everyday life.

Most of our Japamala collection is produced in Peru, where cotton and viscose are locally made with a strong textile tradition. Gisela and her team in Lima take care of every detail.

Another part is made here in Barcelona, in the Maragall neighborhood, with Mercedes and her team, who share our passion for well-made fashion.

We also have other selected brands, made in Barcelona or abroad, always chosen with care and with you in mind.

Japamala is the result of creativity and the work of two wonderful teams. I (Mirta) listen to your wishes, and with my magic and creativity, I design the garments. When the idea is ready, I share it with the workshop girls to hear their opinions.

Once we confirm the models, cuts, and sizes, I choose the fabrics, colors, and prints. And that’s how, with lots of love, your favorite garment is born.

So many—and they’re amazing! We have everything from unique pieces made in Barcelona to very special items from abroad, such as jewelry from Ecuador made with Tagua seed (also called “vegetable ivory”). Original, different, and meaningful details. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, brooches, scarves, foulards, headbands, scrunchies, clips, sashes, bags, and now—super original eyeglass frames.

For now, we sell mainly in our physical shop, and we try to upload some models for online sales too. We always post new arrivals on IG. If you can’t come by, send us a message on WhatsApp or Instagram and we’ll help you get your favorite piece.

Very often! Every week new models arrive: dresses, comfy pants, cotton/viscose t-shirts, and unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

Of course. We have spacious fitting rooms, and if you like, we’ll give you personal advice: how to combine, which cut suits you best, or which piece might surprise you. Always with warmth and good vibes.

At Japamala & Friends, we want you to be happy with your purchase. That’s why:

In-store purchases: you have 14 days to exchange an item with the receipt, as long as the garment is in perfect condition. We don’t issue refunds, but you can exchange it for another item or get a voucher (no expiry) to use whenever you want.

Online purchases: we follow current Spanish legislation on distance selling, and refunds are accepted within the legal deadlines.

Of course. If you need us to send you something, give us your address and we’ll confirm shipping costs and delivery times.

We accept [card, cash, Bizum, PayPal, ApplePay, etc.]. The important thing is that it’s easy for you.

Yes, we can hold a garment for you for a limited time if there are more of the same model/color/size. That way you don’t miss out while you decide.

Japamala & Friends was born from the dream of Sandro and Mirta to create a different kind of space, with clothes that flatter you—covering what you want to hide and showing what you want to highlight. A friendly, cheerful store full of good energy, where you’ll always be welcome.
